Your Buying Agent

Let me introduce myself, I am Matthijs de Klerk from Hey! Makelaars. Since young, I always had a passion for real estate, but first I ended up in a technical, commercial position after my studies at TU Delft. Then I ended up into real estate and I now have almost ten years of experience with purchasing, renovating and selling houses in the Rotterdam region. I distinguish from other real estate agents because I have technical knowledge and a commercial background, which is quite rare for a real estate agent. This is advantageous for you as a client, since you can benefit from my knowledge and extensive network. I will assist you from A to Z when purchasing your dream house.

Our buying process and our service can be found below.

1Intake

We start with an intake interview at your house or at our office where we will determine your housing needs and possibilities.

2Search profile

Based on the intake interview, we draw up a search profile. As soon as a house becomes available within the search profile, we will send this to you within 24 hours. If you are interested, we will plan a house viewing.

3The viewing

If a suitable house comes available or you have found a house yourself, we will go visit the house with you starting from the first viewing. Based on our extensive experience, we draw up a viewing report with the most important comments and remarks about the house. If you are positive about the house, we can proceed to the negotiations.

4The negotiations

Based on the viewing report and your wishes, we draw up a negotiation plan. After your consent, we will start the negotiations by making an offer.

5The agreement

Once the offer is accepted, the seller’s real estate agent will draw up an agreement. Hey! Makelaars will check this agreement so you can sign the agreement without worries.

6The notary office

After signing the agreement the seller’s real estate agent will send the agreement to the notary office of your choice. We will join you during the final inspection. Also after the transfer we will remain the point of contact.
